From its very beginning, Vanprastha Aashram has been committed to the sacred service of *Gau Mata* by operating a well-organized cowshed where cows receive dignity, protection, and complete care.
By divine grace and the blessings of Thakur Ji, one day a cow, sent by Him, arrived at the ashram in a severely injured and weak condition. Her state was so critical that she had to be brought to the ashram on a bullock cart.
After reaching the ashram, she was given proper care, medical treatment, nutritious food, and loving attention. Through the grace of the Almighty and continuous selfless service, Gau Mata has now fully recovered and is healthy.
Since her arrival, the cow population at the ashram has gradually increased. At present, the ashram is engaged in the regular, devoted, and reverent care of Gau Mata. Complete arrangements are in place for clean shelter, balanced nutrition, timely medical care, and overall protection of the cattle.
We firmly believe that service to Gau Mata greatly pleases Thakur Ji, and through His blessings, Vanprastha Aashram continues to progress steadily on the path of service and upliftment.
The Gau Seva at Vanprastha Aashram is not merely an activity, but a living expression of *Sanatan values and humanity*.
